We were recently given a tour of Lamill Coffee Roasters. They have a superb facility in Alhambra, California. These guys choose their beans from all over the world purely by smell and taste. They blend and roast small batches and treated us to a sample using the Clover method of brewing (slow extraction by the cup).
After the roasting house tour, we visited their beautiful boutique cafe in Silverlake, California. The style is very contemporary with a hint of old world. The bright reds really pop against the muted mint.
Billy opted for the orange infused cappuccino, while Jen (predictably) jumped at the Valrhona Mocha.
