Standard Espresso Drinks

Americano – One or two shots of espresso with 6 ounces of hot water

Breve – An espresso beverage made with half-and-half instead of milk

Caffe Latte – Half espresso and half hot milk (little to no froth/foam)

Caffe Mocha – One third espresso, two thirds steamed milk with chocolate powder or sauce

Cappuccino – One third espresso, one third steamed milk and one third frothed milk (foam)

Doppio – Two shots of espresso

Espresso – A one and a half ounce drink made as a result of forcing hot water through two tablespoons of ground espresso using high pressure

Espresso Con Panna – Espresso topped with whipped cream

Espresso Romano – Espresso served with a twist of lemon

Latte Macchiato – Steamed milk “marked” with a spot of espresso

Macchiato – Espresso “marked” with a spot or dollop of milk foam

Shakerato – Espresso shaken with ice and sugar in a shaker
